11 inside 50's to 2 that quarter ....... need some serious work on i50 entries and finishing. C'mon Girls fight it out till the end. At least I know you wont put the cue in the rack like Bris V Swans yesterday .......

vflw now, but in mixed teams. Our newer players will probably play for carlton while older ones will go back to their existing clubs, some which were kicked out of the vflw so go play in other leagues.

But yes, they'll be playing longer seasons over winter.

this is actually not mandated in their AFLW playing contracts. they can OPT to play state league, but they arent required to.

Dont mistake lazy for being very very slow the step up from vflw to aflw must be massive

- Hanging around without marking an opponent
- No F50 defensive pressure to lock it in (look at Gee and Vescio)
- Even though happy to stand in own paddock not doing much to demand the ball
- Can't chase when opposition has it

That's a passenger. Didn't she complain to someone the week she was dropped? Maybe entitled comes into it.

Fair enough :thumbsu:

At least we tried this week, unlike last.

Still too slow on our feet and allowing the opposition players to get 5 steps ahead, should be manning up all the time.

The silver lining is that Collingwood should lose their 3 games, doggies tomorrow, Lions and the Crows. That should keep them winless (hopefully) so we'll sit above them by points, certainly not by percentage though.

From the ground, the crows had noticably quicker players around contests. They would be on the move where we looked far more stagnant. We also seem to move INTO trouble in contested ball moments rather than first look to dish it off away from congestion. It's like we want to make a rolling scrum the whole time.
Crows players looked leaner and fitter in general too.

The other clear deficiency is disposal. We must be the most smothered team in the comp. Far too slow to get boot to ball and it's like our players don't expect the opposition to get across in time. But they do.

So you're telling me the silver lining is that we don't get the first Victorian pick? Yeah, umm...

So we have kicked 3, 3, 2, 2 and 2 goals this season.

This looks like a problem.
It's the muppets kicking it to them, and that we have to rely on a string bean 18 year old to be the ground level presence in the F50.

Doens't matter much, it'll be the 7th or so pick due to North and Cats. Should have gone to the draft last year, we've missed our chance for a few years now with new teams entering.

And yes, avoiding a wooden spoon is paramount, who cares if we drop a pick or two, as long as we don't have a spoon. We've had too many recently and hopefully the women can go a hundred years without a spoon like our men did previously.
