After sleeping on that result, I have a clearer head to think about our finals hopes. Clearly next week's game is a must-win but at a bare minimum we need North Melbourne to beat Adelaide today. That result seems likely given the Kangaroos' form and Adelaide playing without Erin Phillips so we shouldn't have to worry about that too much. It would also be really helpful if Richmond could produce their first ever win against GWS today but that result isn't as crucial given the draw for the rest of the season. Geelong have put themselves in the mix now too but they have to play North Melbourne next week so we have an excellent opportunity to jump ahead of them in the next round if we can get the W against the winless Eagles.

We're alive for the time being and that should be enough to motive our girls.

Great news for us. If the result in the next game goes the way of Richmond then it absolutely keeps our season alive. If it doesn't, we're still alive but it'll be a lot more difficult to jump into the top 3 by season's end.

Just watched West coast play Melbourne and they play like Richmond so I’d say we’re a good chance for the 4 points if we can play our pressure game

The commentators seemed more intent on chatting than actually calling the game. During the 3rd quarter when the games intensity increased instead of calling the game the commentator were waffling on with interviews. Do the interviews during the quarter breaks, we want to watch the game. Plus the camera work was poor showing a lot of the game from long distance. If this was the standard of broadcasting for the men there would be an outcry calling for sackings.

Yeah what annoys me is when it’s so delayed and misses where the ball is etc
