Good honest win for the girls
Unfortunately we are too dependent on Maddie. If the oppositions successfully tag her out of the game, we will struggle to win a game such is her dominance and class. Disappointed in Tayla in getting caught behind her opponent. On the lead she should be unstoppable.
Our tackling and intensity was the difference in the end. Our bigger bodies came in handy to thwart any chance of a doggies comeback.
Until we sort out our poor disposal by foot and some leg speed, I cant see us competing against stronger sides like Adelaide

Here's how it looks after Round 3. Crows next week. Important for us to get a win playing against a Conference A team. And barrack for a draw for the Pies v Demons game.

Or the Demons to have a narrow win

Good win yesterday. Important to bounce back after the loss against the Pies, particularly against a conference rival. Every game is important, of course, but games against teams in the same conference are crucial.

Didn't really look like dropping this one, started well and held the Dogs off, though they did have periods where they were on top and looked as though they may really challenge.

Also wanted to give a shout out to Whitten Oval. First time out there over the weekend and it really is an excellent venue. Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon out there.

Another good hitout from the girls. I think the fact that they still lack a bit of polish across the ground means that they have to bring manic pressure to succeed. And they certainly did that on Saturday.

Maddy is just an out-and-out star, but great to see GG get amongst it, and Grace Egan right in it again. Can't wait until these types of girls are the norm across the competition, rather than the exception.

Wouldn't be surprised if Nicola Stevens sneaks a coaches vote. Thought she presented well and kept at it all day. The clutch goal in the last was important.

Want our girls and Melb to win as we will have a chance to jump Melb down the track.

Would have liked to see Jess Hosking get acknowledged for her ability to get inside the head of some of the Bulldogs' women.
