Do you listen to her on ABC radio Thy? Her calls are much more professional and even handed on ABC. FoxFoooty she goes the hyperbole and faux drama - often in favour of Adelaide. Doesn't do much homework, so "Carlton is s**t" is her go to line for us. No trail blazing there.
looks like she's arrived if she's copping similar criticism to the blokes.......

Prespakis is just a gem. Everything you hope for in a high draft pick.

Dalton and Walker are making a huge difference to this team in 2019 with their speed and aggression - and the best part is they both have a lot more afl development potential. What absolutely inspired rookie pickups!

Our recruiting team got some things seriously right last year and for the first time I can see the foundations of a very good side here.

Harford and his team seem to be building with their coaching too.

Future possibility much brighter than I predicted after round 1.

CARLTON young gun Georgia Gee has been named a Round 6 NAB AFL Women’s Rising Star nominee.

The young midfielder was rewarded for her role in Carlton’s 16-point win over the Brisbane Lions, where she collected 12 possessions and created plenty of drive going forward for the Blues.

First game I have been to for the season, great to get a win in such a crucial game.

There really is something very special about hearing the song after a win at Princes Park.

Thought the contest was a hot one early, but we dominated after quarter time, really stifled the Lions and didn't allow them to play to their strenghts.

My notes on a few of the players -

Prespakis - She is just an unbelievable young footballer with an incredible future ahead of her, can't wait to see how she goes over the next few years as she builds her fitness

Walker & Dalton - Struggle to tell them apart but both have been terrific additions, neither are clean but their pace has been vital, will be interesting to see how much they improve into next year

Harris - Throws her weight around well and as we know, her contested marking is just something else. Kicking for goal an issue, but suspect it is more mental than anything, as it was good on the weekend.

Downie - Excellent once again in the ruck and around the ground, feel she might be the most underrated player at the club. Has great game sense and knows when to drop back.

Harrington - Has to be our most improved player, and is certainly one of our most important, the improvement in her game from last year is remarkable. Played key back on SFT and smashed her. Should be AA this year and would not surprise should she go close to winning the league MVP.

Davey - Just an amazingly powerful unit, has an impact wherever she is on the field, but love her roaming through the midfield

Gee - A little whippet, has some real toe and talent, very slight but isn't afraid to get in there, and usually sticks her tackles

TLR - Clearly a heart and soul player, but just don't see it with her and never have, has no strength nor real standout attribute, but played a role.

Lloynes - My personal favourite, just a battering ram, a wonderful leader to have around the contest

Vescio - Always dangerous on the ball, be it close to goal or further up the ground. Thought she was very good.

Moody - Hasn't had the impact she did last year but has very strong hands in the air and thought she presented well. Has a big future.

Brazzale - Strong, quick burst player, but tough and loves a tackle

Mullane - Has been a great addition to the side, tough, contested, battering ram, does a lot of the unheralded and unnoticed grunt work but hugely valuable mid component.

Looking forward to next Sunday - am hoping to get out to Whitten Oval, would be nice to get a win and continue to build some real momentum into the prelim final.
