A real chance to build confidence and momentum here. West Coast are another struggling side who might be competing with us for the spoon. If we lose to them its pretty dire. Play Ash Richards and Ella Friend see what they can do.

Several Eagles isolating. I think the Eagle have improved this season, but might be a bit like us and can't take too many hits with missing players.

I think we'll win by 1.5 goals per missing player. Fill ya boots, like our last match against them

These last couple of years, maybe a good time to look at changing how the fixture works in both AFL and AFLW.

Instead of "rounds" and a "fixture", have "weeks" and a "schedule". Have greater flexibility, like how leagues in Europe rejig at short notice to fit in cup matches or if a ground has been snowed in etc. The fixture is too rigid. Even with AFLW, we don't play everyone once, so we have the opportunity to find another opponent we haven't played yet and stick them in our schedule, instead of waiting for a specific club to clear up their COVID and then jam them into our calendar down the track.

Just thoughts.

A bit of stuffing around but I've fixed it up - will move the GWS game into the AFLW board for now and this has had the time/date updated for next Tuesday.

Looking for a big game from a few here. G hasn't rocked up to this season yet. Ott puts our defence under MORE pressure than the opposition does (look to Priest for how a player not only nullifies but releases pressure getting us out of trouble). Dillon has prime position in the midfield but doesn't get enough of the pill.

Hopefully we get Dal's first W here, it's probably our best chance this season!

On the money there.

Stoked to see Matin and Friend get a game along with Richards having another run.
Hard to believe that Veseley needs a rest but will back in the medical staff. Mids will look a bit different and hopefully see a bit more balance with some young dash in there.
Hope we see Watt at Full Back again this week and see some of what we saw for 3qtrs last game come out.

I just have a good feeling about this week. Ella Friend and Ash Richards playing, the effort from last week was a good sign and finally we’re against a team around the same mark.
