Not at all suggesting a deliberate bias rather than just football but the AFL would be happy with a Geelong win, Freo wining is going to keep the conferences very lopsided.
Its ridiculous that a Cat's win would leave the two clubs even wins (and Freo probably the better %) and yet it will guarantee the Cats play finals and also that the Dockers do not.

Cats will still make the finals even with a loss - so they should just rest the second half

I don't understand the commentary. Such positivity towards the Cats for restricting Freo, and 'dominating', and 'will Freo get back'. But we're ahead?

Really impressed with the increase in skills, admittedly I've mainly watched Freo who have been one of the top teams but the kicking has improved so much in three seasons.
