They looked exhausted in the end, some great work there to defend that final quarter. Bates and Anderson great in the mid, Davidson was going hard all day, wish she had that goal though. The whole defensive unit I think were great.
what a relief! good on the girls with that win, especially with the abrupt changes and all.

Unfortunately, Freo are on top on percentage.
We deserved the win. What a great effort. Our ball movement when it mattered was superior today and we played four quarter football. All our forwards stood up when it mattered, we have a great defence and I’ve already posted about our superb midfield. Congratulations girls, you’re on top of the ladder.

Biggest win in, well, two weeks but still. How good was the pressure, especially inside fifty! Everytime a pies player had the ball they had no time to breathe before the pack tackle came in. And how good has ally been this season but especial the past three or four weeks
Was really worried about this one after the last minute move to Melbourne but the girls showed serious quality. It's great were winning even when qwre not kicking straight too. Can't wait for next week at the gabba, even dragging my parentsong on their visit from Tasmania

I was getting nervous for her when she was the last defender minding her opponent and covering the high ball. Didn't lose her opponent, didn't lose track of footy.. looking very good. Alongside Nat Grider who is brilliant and extremely composed for her age, Tahau is another find for our defense.
Great game by the team - awesome job ladies beating those unbeaten clubs up the ladder. Good tune up for us playing pies, roos and demons before finals.
