A big win by the VFLW team vs North who had a flying start to the season.

Just a question, and apologies for being a little out of touch with the VFLW competition. But do the AFLW players play in the VFLW competition during the off season at all? Or strictly only AFLW?

Some do, but not as many as in the past.

Dogs recruit that they signed the other day for the AFLW team, played today

So SIX away games, and FOUR home?

AFL/AFLW continuing to display a lack of numeracy skills at HQ.

Once. R2 2017. For some reason this moment has always stuck in the memory:

Wouldn't take too much notice of the scoreline, we were far from full strength and Burkey has a history of trying players in different positions in practice matches.

Edmonds, Lynch, E. Brown, Berry, and Cranston were all missing while Blackburn didn't play the second half as she got a corky and we didn't want to risk it.

Wasn't able to catch the full match, still waiting for a replay to be posted but from what I saw Pritchard has gone to another level and really has a chance of becoming a top 30 player this season, she reads well in the air and can win it on the ground. It was also good to see McLeod back and Gorham did a couple of nice things.

Gonna be a tough opening couple of weeks playing Geelong, Hawthorn, Melbourne and Gold Coast, if we can get to 2-2 I think that would be a win.

Strong team, probably only E. Brown, Berry and possibly Cranston missing from our best 21 with Brown the biggest name missing.

Here are the changes from the 2022B elimination final...

Carruthers, Dominique
Lagioia, Gemma
McFarlane, Brianna
McLeod, Kirsten

Out
Berry, Deanna
Cranston, Richelle
