Really? Really? Vastly inferior?

Andy Murray doesn't seem to think Serena Williams achievements are "vastly inferior" does he? And they're not.

Jas Garner for example, does some things on the footy field that are as good as I've seen anyone do in the last ten years, she's just so ... fluent in the way she plays.

Serena Williams has won 20 odd Grand Slam titles, but put her up against Roger, Rafa or Novak in their prime and she'll be lucky to win a single game against them, let alone a set, let alone a match.

Talking about equality, in tennis the mens play best of 5 sets whilst the womens only play best of 3 sets. Same prize money though.

Anyway, it all comes down to supply and demand. People flock to watch womens tennis matches, to see Serena, Sharapova, Osaka, Wozniacki etc. But people won't/haven't flock to watch ALW matches, hence the peanuts money.

Where is the equality in equal prizemoney in tennis, when the men play a more physical contest, over more sets, with matches lasting considerably longer, with consistently significantly higher television audiences for the duration of their matches?

Serena wouldn't be able to beat the 200th ranked man in the world.

Not sure why we are discussing tennis but as a female tennis player she's a champion.

The AFL will need to prop up the AFLW for a long time before it sees any kind of return, Are tickets still free.
