Like most pre season comps, who wins is usually a matter of which players get named as much as anything.

Local teams are more likely to field stronger teams, so yeah a Sydney team is more likely to win. (I say that without actually looking at the teams...its more just a general comment on pre season games).

Makes sense as the Swans won't need to fly any players in whereas Gold Coast, Brisbane, Western Bulldogs and Richmond (?) will.
