I will not hear a bad word said about that man, I got 100-1 just before the season started in the year he won his brownlow.
Next year I want the "Fish and Cripps" team. And can we do away with the silly new fan dangled slogans and just go with a "chiko roll" goal. Geez for 20 points we could upsize it with a chips Guernsey to a designated player, last 5 mins maybe a gravy goal. The stupidity is endless.

I watched about 50 minutes of this, then went to sleep. Woke up in middle of night and clicked to games Crippa and Fisher would play in. Funny he won Superboot award. Bernie Quinlan the true original Superboot and like Cripps was a tall midfielder in him time. Superboot eventually moved to full forward in later years and kicked 100 goals in a season.
Bit of fun night for players and kids. Certainly a major improvement on silly AFLX they had last year. One more player on ground least made it a little contested. Probably need one more each team and they will have the concept about right for what they trying to achieve.

Yep, good light hearted glorified training session for Crippa and Fish.
Do this once a year, I am ok with it. Add some funny football olympics as pre-game stuff an hour before and AFL got a nice niche night for pre-season each year.
