When I hear AFLX

For some reason this is coming back.

I know about the cheer squads. I'm suggesting moving into another level.
The stadiums are virtually sold out every game. Segregation happened in finals when there are no season tickets.
The only space is the cheer squad allocations much of the time.

PB, the key is changing the allocation of tickets. It is a trade-off. You allow visitors to buy more tickets in your home match, and, in reciprocity, you have more tickets available for you in the away game.

For instance, instead of 95:5 in one game and 5:95 in the other (with most away fans spread around all over), it becomes 85:15 and 15:85 (with most away fans concentrated in a particular section of the stadium).

I'm a believer that segregating fans in soccer actually creates more tension and violence.

There is no violence or aggression problem at Showdowns, and there's no more heated rivalry in football. Any incidents are incredibly rare and i've found generally people will support the innocent party rather than jump in with the person wearing the same colours. If you don't go to a Showdown looking for a fight, you'll struggle to find one.

I've always thought that the segregation in soccer came either naturally (people would simply join others supporters of their team) or as a response to hatred violence.

Nope, it came in the late 70's early 80's in the UK as a response to the violence. There were natural 'home' ends, but no enforced segregation hence the battles in the ground. Once segregation started the fights moved outside.

In a way I'm probably somewhat unlucky with the incidents I described before, but there are a few things I probably should clarify about the issues I've had that back up your first point somewhat 1. at away showdowns I'm always on the hill, behind the cheersquad, often in the vicinity of the Alberton Crowd, which in itself probably explains much of the problem 2. none of my incidents actually resulted in a full blown fight, as in, no punches were ever landed. A couple came close, including one delightful chap in the GDV with a roundhouse punch so round I managed to get another drink from the bar before I had to dodge it, which brings me to point 3. somewhere between a third and a half of these incidents happened outside the stadium after the game as we were leaving which means as far as I'm aware, segregation would've done bugger all to prevent them.

The Emirates has about as much atmosphere as a boiled turnip.
Theres a reason Highbury was called Library (of course apart from that it rhymes).

So apparently R. Gray is going to be playing as our only recognised staf , and so will Martin for Richmond.

Something tells me the AFL have demanded each team play atleast one marquee player.

If Cam Hewett isn't picked we are taking this sideshow too seriously.

If Cam Cloke isn't picked then we're taking it too seriously

Looks like they went to cooltext.com to use their free and easy template.
Once applied at Champion Data, found out they did the actual graphics for the stats shown on fox footy.

I made the correct career decision to tank the interview from that point. **** that stuff is ugly.

Alot could go wrong in literally one second
They play footy in training as well you know!

People freaking out about players playing footy (even IR) is just stupid. Those playing will simply not do a similar drill that week, any injury will have the same chance of occurring regardless.
