To think Paddy's predominantly an inside mid too...

He's going to be lethal if we use him on a wing/flank

He's the complete package, which is why dynamite inside mids are so difficult to find.

Not many in the competition that are inside beasts but also electrifyingly quick.

Guys like Dangerfield and Judd play similarly.

Not only that, he keeps his feet and always steps in the right to direction to evade. And he's good overhead.

Some of his manoeuvring tonight almost reminded me of Gibbs.

Average to watch as a supporter. Product needs tinkering to survive. Not horrible, not great - just bog average.

Observations; the format really showed up the attribute of 'decision making'. Silvagni did mostly the right things all the time while on ground. Macreadie while competitive and tried hard non stop, continually made decision errors. Same with a smaller sample size did Cam O'Shea. Polson struggled as well overall. All did good things as well but poor decisions means a net loss for the side.

Fisher got better as the game went on and was good. Dow good.

Agree with previous poster about Carlton trying to get 10 points on the 40 metre line 3-4 times when the better decision was to keep moving fwd and take the 6. Part of the poor decision making that lost us the games. 10 points is great but 1 point + giving the ball to the opposition on restart is a killer.

Kennedy lost a bit effectiveness in this format as inside mids not required.

Nothing much to take out of it really except Fisher and Silvagni showed good decision making and the rest struggled.
