OK, here we go again!! I wonder when one of us will get it right and pick the same team as the MC?
This week they could bring in Armfield; O'hAlipin; Bentley.
Don't know who they would drop but probably; Garlett then it's a raffle between; Joseph, Robinson, Johnson & Russell.
Since the Swans are more a hard at it team than speed and pace I would like to keep in the team the "in and under" players like Hadley; Robinson & Joseph.
:eek:We do need the big Irishman in the team especially with Jamison out. Regardless of his few errors now and then we need his height and aggression. He also has significent pace for a bigman.
Therefore my team would look something like:
B: Joseph O'hAlipin Thornton
HB: Armfield Bower Grigg
C: Waite Stevens Simpson
HF: Houlihan Kreuzer Gibbs
F: Cloke Fevola Betts
Inter: Wiggins; Bentley; Hadley; Robinson
Em: Russell, Scotland, Austin

Sydney are an interesting one. They are very much a tempo team and very well drilled. That is how they are able to extract maximum success from an otherwise not extraordinary list. They have good solid across the board contributions. And they like to control the game and play that lock down kind of game, low scoring, tight between the arcs kind of grind.

Their list is getting older and there is no outstanding new talent emerging. But they are still dangerous. Their form is decieving. They were flogged by Brisbane in the rain but managed to give the Hawks a fair touch up the week before. Their loss to the Saints was only 15 points. So it is very hard to draw any conclusions from these 3 games.

But having said all of that, we play them on a Saturday afternoon which for them is unusual (I beleive they may be better under lights than they are during the day but it is only a hunch) so provided we can dictate the pace of the game, and our mids and forwards are angry and fired up, I think our usual game plan can rattle them. If we play it on their terms I am not so sure.

I am confident we have the quality. The loss on the weekend has me concerned about our attitude, but overall I still feel we have had a blip and can and will bounce back.

As for ins and outs, you all know that I dont much care. The same 22 that lost to the bombers are just as capable of turning it around.

good team, althougth I would bring bannister in ahead of bently, and I believe we need scotland back in. he gives us structure, and we looked liked we lacked it coming out a bit last weekend, esspecially when waite is called upon to defend. maybe joseph the unlucky one for him
