The same rookie who done wonders, and put in heaps of effort in trying to secure the Warriors a place in the league.

Regardless of that, in effect you're saying nobody can start threads and contribute towards the SFA unless they've played a sufficient amount of games.

Sure way to entice people out of their comfort zone........and you were a captain.

Incorrect, the question was asked because it was alleged Ashton Agar was using an alias based on matching IP addresses, and he responded. What's the commotion in someone starting a thread to deny theses allegations? If it causes somebody so much angst, then refrain from reading and posting.
No need to ridicule a player who's vested interest is contributing to the league, whether you see it as a reasonable contribution or not, and it's a sure fire way to dim the involvement of others looking to edge away from posting only in match threads.

I'm all for the creation of media threads, no matter who posts it or how big or small the point in question such as this one, where AA's more or less reinforced something he's already posted in another thread.

Commenting on working hard to establish yourself though...you've been here for a season. That's typically reserved for those who've been here a lot longer, and if it's going to be the crux of your defence then it's not a good defence. As well as things such as forming a 'big' rivalry between yourself and BoshtrichBurger.

After re-reading it, I don't think anyone should be taking jabs at AA simply for posting a media thread regardless of how irrelevant they feel the topic at hand is - there's been much worse. It's clearly encouraged around the board and presents another fantastic element of the game. I just think this can be presented a little better.

Was it really the best way? I had no idea there was any sort of issue until reading the thread, so I went and read the Royals team thread where this all transpired and it's clear the best way would have been to just post "No they are not my alias, I know them in real life and invited them to join the SFA. We use the same computer/wifi or whatever and thats why it looks like we're aliases."

That would have solved any mystery because as you said, posting styles are different, and I'm sure nobody is that stupid to start 2 new accounts within days and try to join the SFA.

This thread is pointless and the issue never needed to spill out of the Royals team thread.
