its option E for me, they paid overs for Prestia and now they have to play him so they dont have a Mayne scenario with them.

Why wouldn't he be worth similar money to 2 mil over 3 (660) like Daniher?Slightly more than your club could now afford.
North: 700-800
Open Market: Who knows?
You're clogging up my thread with off topic stuff. Take it to the 2017 trade thread.

I think that is fair.
Strange, its your first comment mentioning ben brown. Like anywhere on big footy. Must be a real fan of his...What's a sipporter? I am trying to provide my opinion, I think Brown is a great player, key forwards are rare, keep him on good cash otherwise he could leave.

If every draft was, more or less, equal, this isn't bad. The question mark for me is whether next year's draft, including TT and the F/S opportunities, is more valuable, and if we are, therefore, better off trading into next year's draft, rather than this.If we don't get Kelly I'd go for Rockliff. Midfield rotations next year of:
Cunnington - Rockliff - Higgins - McDonald - Dumont - Clarke - Ziebell - Atley with Preuss as ruck.
Backline built on Tarrant, Thompson and Nielson, with Williams, Macmillan and EVW as the primary smalls/mids with Atley and McDonald sweeping as required.
Small/medium forwards of Garner, Simpkin, Hrovat and Turner and key forwards of Brown, Durdin and Wood.
Delist Gibson and trade out Thomas, Swallow and Goldstein. Push for as many first and second round picks as possible, using our cap space to pay those traded for better picks. Squeezing a second and a late first out for those three.
Mountford, Ahern, Zurhaar, Williams, Anderson, Wright, Mullett, Jacobs, Waite and Daw as depth/rotations.
Picks 4, 15-19, 21, 22-25,
Reset complete.
Unless we know what Blakey and Scott are going to do, there is no point trading for picks in 2018. If they aren't coming, we will easily cover Crocker and Thomas. If every draft was, more or less, equal, this isn't bad. One advantage of this is that, while the draftees would be a year younger, it sets us up for more sustainable success in terms of quality; assuming they are indeed deemed better players. Might it also 'space out' the rate at which kids are introduced into the seniors and give those who have only just begun to make their way into the team the time to develop without holding out the next batch.
Makes sense, if we don't know. We may want to make provision if we're think we're a shot. Regardless, I'm assuming we may not necessarily be looking only at these guys, but the rest of the supposedly better draft.Unless we know what Blakey and Scott are going to do, there is no point trading for picks in 2018. Fair enough. Whatever. I just wanted the poster out of this thread.
You violently killed him? He's unable to even see this thread now. Gorn!
You violently killed him?
(Oh wait not that kind of gorn)
Add something.
Ideally, I'd also want any one we pick up to be a likely top 25 or 26 in a potential premiership side, and to be young enough to play seven years for the team. The only players we should be targeting are those that add speed, polish, skill, goal kicking - name any of those types and I can gurantee you will get a more positive response.

Miles had 35 disposals and was BOG for Richmond in the VFL semi yesterday.
You can have him, probably worth a second pick and we'd take it. Will fit in with the extreme pace of Cunnington, Ziebell, Higgins and Swallow
Paying overs thereThe campaigner is worth a half eaten mars bar and a packet of chips.

I'm merely pointing out the reason he's in the twos and how he probably isn't the best fit for your midfield given the lack of pace. Have a snickers mate

You tried at a (far from) subtle dig at our midfield. Trouble is we are all substantially smarter over here than the smartest poster on the tigers board and so you received the appropriate response. Toddle off now and prepare for Friday night and the inevitable loss of another final.
It was subtle but good natured. And to illustrate the point of why I think he'd be a bad fit. Am I wrong about a lack of midfield pace?
Anyway I'll leave you to it. Thought oppo supporters would be welcome on the thread to discuss but clearly not.
I got it, and you're not wrong about the midfield pace. We need class and pace in there, or at least explosive breakaway acceleration, perhaps with a good don't argue. Know of any suitable players?!
