Our big guns will be Alex Goodingham, Luke Adams, Miles Pitt and Ricky Plumber and maybe Joel Miller, we have a lot of talent I just don't know if it's good enough to beat PEGS, Marcellin or Assumption.
That looks like it could be a fairly accurate ladder. PEGS should get the top spot, the next 3 spots, however, could go either way. Pennisula, Marcellin and Assumption, in my view, are fairly evenly matched and the number 2 spot is definetly up for grabs, this should make for a very competitive season. My ladder
1. PEGS
2. Peninsula
3. Marcellin
4. Assumption
5. Trinity
6. Ivanhoe
7. Camberwell
8. Yarra Valley
9. Mentone
PEGS always favourites to win, think Peninsula will do well this season. Marcellin always seem to contend at the top as well as Assumption. That makes the top 4.
I believe the only other two schools who can make the 4 are Trinity and Ivanhoe. Bottom 3 need to improve majorily. Despite Menton finishing 5th last season I don't believe they can get up this season.

agree fully with the players you have mentioned, dont really see trinity as capable of making the top 4, dont have any absolute stars that can blitz a game open. from the blokes mentioned (or anybody u forgot) 'bigbangfooty' who do you think are the key 1 or 2 players that need 2 have a massive year for the trinity team to push for a good result in 08. just cant see them doing amazing
Dont think it was for premiership points but PEGS lost to ACK by 23 points today in the HS shield.
were pegs playing a full strength side?Dont think it was for premiership points but PEGS lost to ACK by 23 points today in the HS shield.
yeh PEGS were pretty close to full strength missing Maric, ACK was also missing Jackson Charles and number 1 ruck Xavier Mcmahon..were pegs playing a full strength side?
i couldnt agree more with youassumption beat pegs today why does every1 jsut say that they musnt be as gud as wat every1 thort yas all rode off assumtpion this yr wen they have a very handy team with sum new players who are dam good footballers they played as a great team today an a few standouts were gestier sheahan collis holman an many more jsut a great team effort did any1 else get to see the match cos ack is back by the looks of the way they played today
How did Trinity go in their practice match against Hale?
What's a "2nds type team"?lost by 2-3 goals but played a 2nds type team apparently, also lost 2 carey today.
not very good signs for trinity this year. my pick mentone as being the suprise package of the year alongside the "big 4"
Trinity lost to Carey in a practice game yesterday and after kicking the first goal of the game, it was downhill from there. Trinity ended up losing by 70-80 pts. Either Trinity are ridiculously bad, or just AGS is terrible. Trinity were a weak side at best and it is known that CAREY arent in the top 4 schools in the APS. Brown did nothing also.lost by 2-3 goals but played a 2nds type team apparently, also lost 2 carey today.
