PEGS always favourites to win, think Peninsula will do well this season. Marcellin always seem to contend at the top as well as Assumption. That makes the top 4.

I believe the only other two schools who can make the 4 are Trinity and Ivanhoe. Bottom 3 need to improve majorily. Despite Menton finishing 5th last season I don't believe they can get up this season.

That looks like it could be a fairly accurate ladder. PEGS should get the top spot, the next 3 spots, however, could go either way. Pennisula, Marcellin and Assumption, in my view, are fairly evenly matched and the number 2 spot is definetly up for grabs, this should make for a very competitive season.
 
whats all the talk about shuey an stanton for watched them a few games last year an they didnt do much i dont no what games you guys go to you ppl only love stanton cos his brother or cousin whatever they are plays for the bombers but neva had an impact in the games last yr

I think obviously Matthew Brown and Nick Birrell will have outstanding years.

I rekon Kris Spassopolous, Harry Tinney and Lewie Eckersley are the others who have to step up another notch this year for Trinity to have a good year.

assumption beat pegs today why does every1 jsut say that they musnt be as gud as wat every1 thort yas all rode off assumtpion this yr wen they have a very handy team with sum new players who are dam good footballers they played as a great team today an a few standouts were gestier sheahan collis holman an many more jsut a great team effort did any1 else get to see the match cos ack is back by the looks of the way they played today

lost by 2-3 goals but played a 2nds type team apparently, also lost 2 carey today.
not very good signs for trinity this year. my pick mentone as being the suprise package of the year alongside the "big 4"

Trinity lost to Carey in a practice game yesterday and after kicking the first goal of the game, it was downhill from there. Trinity ended up losing by 70-80 pts. Either Trinity are ridiculously bad, or just AGS is terrible. Trinity were a weak side at best and it is known that CAREY arent in the top 4 schools in the APS. Brown did nothing also.

Trinity did not kick the first goal of the game mate. Trinity lost 14-12-96 to 6-8-44 leaving it being a 52 point defeat and not a 70-80 pt win.
 
Marcellin in their 2nd Practice match of the year completed a well run out game beating Melbourne High 127 vs 55. Marcellin also rotating bench very frequently and did not field any of the TAC boys. First Practice match against White Friars was a well fought out battle fielding a 3rd's XVIII type team but winning comprehensively. Looking the goods for this year.
 
The trinity squad is questionable this season, with a handful of good players (such as, brown, spassopoulos, birrel, tinney, eckersly and the big fella oldy). But the reliance is on them to play as TEAM and play smart footy if they want to have a good season. They lost to carey by quite a margin but the team had alot of players out and they are looking for some young players to step up. Fortune favour the brave.
