mentone and assumption was a good game
mentone was leading in the last 1/4 until assumptions size and depth of quality midfeilders enabled them to run over the top. good debuts for blokes such as garside, garside, maitland, D brown. mentone can still improve, with some of the senior players quiet, yet george rowlands game on ball was pure heaven. the umpires also were terrible and should jump of the westgate on their way back to Kilmore!!!

just for your information the umpiring was very good and if anything disadvantaged assumption and they definately wernt assumption umpires so $*&# up!

anyone played any of these three sides? most likely top 3 with marcellin and peninsula fighting for 3. who are there key players? numbers? who should us as the weaker teams look to shut down to give ourselves a chance.

The umps were probably calling Assumption blokes by their first name because they had learnt their names over the course of the game. If your side has the ball the umpires probably are going to hear their team mates calling for it.

In A grade VAFA the umpires often call the better players of each team by their first name or even nicknames... if it better than just saying "mate" or "ivanhoe player"...

guys watched a few ags games this season seen trinity play think theyll give peninsula a run for their money the boys never give up and are hard at it all day as they were last week against PEGS who are a powerhouse of the ags and out scored them in the 2nd half

I am from SPC Launceston, tas. We are coming over to Melbourne and playing a match against Trinity on Thursday 22nd after school. Any ideas what sort of team Trinity will put on the park?
When do AGSV play their roster matches? Saturday?
