to me this is a recipe for probably 80% of serial rapists/ thugs: bad parents with drink/drug/ behavior problems who don't or can't look after them, give them a s**t childhood with plenty of violence throw in mental problems with lots of drugs and alcohol and a justice system that gives them chance after chance and lots of slaps on the wrist

As for getting attacked while being on the phone, just makes you more vulnerable which is what the predator wants. You're not paying attention, distracted, makes it easier for the scum to get you. Commonsense. And for the pyscho's that know their victim is on the phone talking about them/aware, then yeah, they don't give a *. They're crazy etc.
