Complicated but it might end up back with you as part of Aish trade if we acquire it from GWS (via the Blues GWS player grab).
That would be weird. Ironically pick 21 went on a journey
Problem.is Brisbane need both the picks this year. Especially if they want Bastinac. Which I don't know why. Robinson, Bastinac, Bell. Really know how to fill a list up with shit.

I'm seriously happy just not to worry about what norf want, it's better for everyone.

It's funny they think they hold the cards, when really they have nothing.
I agree that Bell isn't a great pick up but sounds like you didn't watch Robinson play this year.

That St Kilda second rounder is the jewel in the crown for Brisbane. The choice of 21 or 26 comes down to how North can be compensated for Bastinac. I highly doubt it'll be two 2015 second round picks myself.

On a separate note is anyone else getting a kick out of the u-turns and about faces on this deal?

We've actually reached a point where Brisbane will be satisfied, Aish will be satisfied, Collingwood will be satisfied, Bastinac will be satisfied and the one party left without a partner when the music stops is likely to be #lolnorf

I can at least accept the saltiness from Lions fans because with everything they've been through over the past 3 years they're justified in it.

I think the banter thread should be bumped once all three trades go through so we can give each clubs supporters a chance to get the saltiness out of their system and have a good laugh at their expense in the process.

Collingwood are set to secure James Aish by handing over Brisbane two second-round draft picks to secure the elite 19 year-old.

The Pies will trade their second round selection in this years draft, and forward on a future second-round selection received from St Kilda for Nathan Freeman for Aish.

I like the sound of that from The Age. Exactly what I've been advocating over the last 48 hours.

Will be even better if we can retain the earlier 2nd rounder (21) received as part of Treloar.

Happy with that

That is a made up story on the AFL Offseason account.

So you've said every time it's posted.
Are you saying the content is wrong i.e, we're not handing over the picks suggested?

It's not on the Age website at all. So it's to be taken with a grain of salt.

Don't worry - we'll know soon enough one way or another.

Ok so you're just shooting down his post and having nothing to add to it.
Incidentally it makes some sense and will probably be correct, (which is what I focused on).

What is to add to it? He is quoting The AFL Offseason account.

I thought maybe you'd heard something different.
Does it really matter what he's quoting.
If it was an outlandish idea we'd all say that sounds like crap etc.
The fact it sounds feasible I don't see any harm.

Looking at it differently, in 2013 I absolutely would have traded a second rounder to go from 10 to 7 in the draft.

We've made the best out of a shit situation if that goes through.
