No mention of Aish in there.

I'm just excited to see what the the naysayers will target once we have secure Aish and Treloar.........God forbid if anyone even gets a tad excited or even posts a positive word in support of the club for bringing these guys on board.

Cost way too much.

Said it before, if we land Treloar, Howe and Aish we've had a phenomenal trade week, all should be best 22 and one at least is elite.

Seeds, Kennedy, Freeman on the evidence available are not great losses, none are regular best 22

Costs us some high picks but its high value talent we are getting

Am really hoping 21 (from GWS), 47 and 63 keep the Lions happy. Values Aish at effectivey pick 12 so cross your fingers it doesn't include our pick 26. Really would like to hold that.
Just fear Lions will want 21 & 26 and then maybe send us back a pick their pick 39.

Lions already said they want more than 1 second rounder. Im hoping we screw off norf and just give them 26 and St kilda from next year hopefully. I dunno.

Yeah I know thats what they said but its all about points value etc for Lions and if we give them a series of points that value Aish at #12 then its not unreasonable.

They could take the 21 and then swap that for Bastinac and maybe get North #34 back. Would give them a similar points result.

Other option might be North take Saints pick for Freeman in next years draft and we get Aish and Lions get Bastinac and our 26. We probably need something back there but it would be close. That would be a good result for us as we get to keep in this years draft.

The Lions are not making sense.

They want an established player in the deal, but also need points.

It has to be one or the other.

Best we can do is trade them 2 second rounders, and they give one for bastinac.

Problem is we need to wait for the carlton deal to be done first and then seal the treloar deal.

Time is now a factor

We now have two second round picks available to trade, one this year and one next year. That should be adequate to make the trade now for Aish.

Them we can get the Treloar deal done before end of trade period with 21 coming back to us. Hopefully we can use that pick on a good KPF prospect or indigenous goal sneak.

So using the Freeman pick, and either pick 26 we have now or whatever GWS decide to give us back.

Yep. That's why is doesn't really matter if the pick is 21 or 28. It's going to Brisbane it seems.

The way I figure, the longer the Treloar deal goes on, the more the balance tips in our favour as GWS can't afford to let Treloar drift into the national draft and there are no other clubs to compete against us, offering our first round picks for the next two drafts. The Aish situation is a little different with both North Melbourne or Richmond (if they lose Yarran) having the draft picks to undercut us, if they choose to use them on a player who has stated he wants to go to Collingwood. It's all a poker game going on, but generally I think clubs want to help each other out, if it means they each get what they want.

Couldn't Carlton use pick 1 on him?

Sounds like it won't happen.
