Ahh why wouldn't we just get GWS to kick in their future second in the AT deal especially now that they've got the Geelong future 1St round pick? Or we head to a club we have a good trading relationship with? It's a non-issue!

I'd prefer we just make it our 2015 pick 7 + our 2016 2nd round for Treloar (similar points to 2 x 1st round less a 2nd round back + GWS have less need for our 2016 1st round now they have Cats.)

We could then trade Saints 2016 2nd round plus our 2016 3rd for Aish (roughly pick 15 in points, rather than 2 x 2nd round which is approx pick 9-11)

Now we have Treloar I am not that fussed if we get Aish or not to be honest. The price will be around a second rounder plus something, if that plus something is another second rounder then I am quite happy to keep said second rounders, whatevs.

Aish is slightly over rated. He will be a 200 game player and do well, but he will be no star like Treloar. Aish reminds me of Gibbs has a lot of nice attributes but lacks something. Now Gibbs would be best 22 in all teams but no one really can get that excited about him.

Aish will be a nice complement to our midfield but he won't be the main attratcion.

Dont forget st kildas future 2nd rounder we got for freeman.

My understanding is we can trade that because its not our 2nd round pick.

So we could do 26 + future 2nd from treloar deal. And we still keep a top 30 pick this year.

St kildas futre 2nd should be more appealing than ours anyway as it is likely they will finish bottom 6.

I'm actually now hoping that Aish calls their bluff and heads to the PSD. Clubs generally won't pick a player if they know they are a flight risk in a year's time. If that happens I'm heading to the Brisbane board

from what I can see from the last week or so, there's been a lot of failed top ten draft picks who have been traded for ONE second round pick or even less...and i'm talking freeman and toumpas and others. personally i wouldnt swap 3 picks for Aish. I dont think he's that good..
