It took 8 months for my first to sleep through, and his first time was on Boxing Day. He slept until 8am. It was a Boxing Day miracle. Yes, we did check to see whether he was dead.

I have high hopes for the new one. She has slept for 5 hours during the night twice now. If we can get her sleeping through from 6-8 weeks I'll be ecstatic.

Similar to us. 9 months for our daughter. The second one (1 month) doesn't look like she's going to be much better. D'oh!

Took us about 8 months to get our boy sleeping properly and it was with a lot of help including a week in a residential program at a private hospital. Then we travelled to Sydney for Xmas with my family and he was totally thrown out of whack and we started from scratch again.

Wow i must be lucky. My nearly 2 year old has been a good sleeper throughout his life. We would quite often get full nights sleep, only a couple bad nights i can remember

Didn't they pick up a bloke called Beams last year?
Sometimes its OK to "sell the farm"...I'd sell my 'farm' every day of the week if it means we put ourselves into a premiership position.

Why would you keep the 'farm' if it means you're no chance of winning a premiership?? Stupid.

Hawthorn have traded aggressively and won 3 premierships of the back of it....seems like a good 'sale' to me.

LOL. I have a 9 week old hence why a lot of posts from me at midnight/early morning.
10 weeker here, although he was 7 weeks premature. Doing ok, sleeping about 4 hour intervals through the night. Could be worse.

considering we were going to let him go for nothing in the PSD/ND I think it is a good outcome for everyone involved. Hine must have blinked first for us to accept a deal.

If Hine blinked, Schwabb must have his eyes closed in the casket and about to be sent into the crematorium.

How the mighty have fallen.

If they were offered Treloar and a player the quality of Aish for two mid first rounders and a second rounder they'd be all over it. In reality, that's what we've paid, given 28 was thrown back to us by GWS.
When you boil it down, we are getting Treloar (who would have gone either 1 or 2 in his draft year if he wasn't signed by GWS as a free 17yo), and Aish (a #7 pick) for pick 7, pick 10ish and a second round. I'm more than happy with that.

Surely Brisbane will cave.

Whats the difference between two 2016 2nd rounders vs a 2015 and 2016 2nd rounder?(which is my understanding of the barrier right now)
If they are seriously still threatening to send him to the PSD because of that difference then they are being extremely petty and would deserve to lose him for nothing.

Next year we have potential top 3 pick in Jacob Allison as part of the academy as well as other likely top 25 picks in Rolls etc. We need picks for next year so we don't go into debt for the 2017 draft.

He sounds like a great fit for the pies, look after him for a couple of years will ya?

My biggest concern is about 13 years from now when my daughter hits puberty...
Been there done that - keep her away from local footy clubs. My oldest girl came home when she was about 11 and declared she wanted to give hockey a try. Brilliant - no netball, no football culture.
Daddy breathed a big sigh of relief, remembering all those Geelong local footy teams and the deeds done.

That's why it looks like North is still in this trade. You'd think North's future 2nd rounder would be part of the deal.
