The difference between Pie mods and Lion mods is that you haven't just been banned for such a stupid statement. Buzz off until you have an understanding of the players. Ox would walk into your best 22 and be an important defender. U have no-one on your list that can read the play like him. You guys get excited by an ordinary player like Bell and Anderson (who can't get a game) and dismiss a guy who can add so much more to your team just because u r sore about Aish.

You get nothing and will then struggle to get Hipwood after trading your second rounder for Bell, Casboult and Bastinac

Pick 17 and 39 or whatever it is won't get both Keays and Hipwood

Who's the loser here? Brisbane losing Aish for nothing and missing out on an Academy guy or Collingwood who lose nothing?

He'll be a top 15 player at your club. Won't ever be as good as crisp, Degoey, varcoe or Aish.

And at very least he wont be a flight risk like most of your players seem to be.

VFL benchwarmer for us could be a good player for you. If Mitch Robinson can win the B&F, Oxley will definitely not be misplaced. He might even be the 5th person to get a vote.

Aish on Tuesday next. Will stall the whole week if they can. Weekend to have a good think, probably Sunday papers to put some pressure on either party, maybe some crisis meeting with back office/ AFL. Come together on Monday, work a few things out, all good on Tuesday and use the last 2 days on the picks they got (left)

Would they be crazy though? The Dons could quite easily turn around and say they won't trade for him, they targeted him specifically because he was a free agent. Pick 25 for an injury prone 27 year old ruckman is a hefty price to pay.

Would be hillarious if they matched and Essendon said either take our 3rd or thanks but no thanks. I reckon they'll suck it up and take the compo in the end.

Reckon they're crazy enough too and Swann indicated as much on radio tonight. If they do match and Essendon don't deal they are stuck with Luey (who wants out) for the term of the contract and they get no pick to help with their academy kids.

Either scenario probably increases our bargaining power in the Aish deal as they will need more picks.

I reckon Essendon will contact them before they do anything and tell them if they match they can keep him or they'll be happy to take him in the psd if he still wants out.

This! Why would Essendon offer up a decent pick when they can more than likely get him for free in the PSD? Doesn't make sense to me

Half of their list doesn't want to be there and are stuck, so I don't see how keeping Luey on that list will be too big of a deal :P
