Why wouldn't Carlton take him and if they couldn't settle him down they could trade him to Collingwood in a year. At worst they'd spend a PSD pick to get a ND pick(s) the following year or a player and a pick(s).

they're trying to build for the long-term. Of course if they thought he was a chance of settling in they'd grab him but if he made it clear he wasn't committed I wouldn't touch him if I was in their shoes.

It's not like he's a very very good player (eg Treloar). Aish has potential but not worth selling the farm over. (BTW I'm pro-Aish)

Hine blinked so hard that Brisbane went from "Not trading", to "Ok but only if we get Bastinac and a 2nd Rounder out of it", to "Ok ok just the two 2nd rounders are fine, but they have to be 2016 ones only!" to "Yes Mr Hine, we can't let him walk to the PSD 26 and a 2016 second is fine"
