Hate to burst your perfect little bubble but I've seen the photo's and he is the only player that doesn't actually look ripped. I'm sure he's in for a big year but toned and ripped? I don't think so

What Rohan is saying is spot on - if Didak is to achieve his best, he needs to curb his off-field behaviour. In the past it has been a problem. In the future it may not, but only time will tell if he takes this last last chance he has been given. The fact is he will only achieve his best if he avoids the booze.
Tess's prerogative to decide how to describe a group she is a part of.Queer is a derogatory term.. you scream blue bloody murder when others do it to you.. hypocritical in the extreme![]()

Sorry but that is a total crock, VFL/AFL history is littered with many great players who have led a less than professional life away from the club. He did manage to win a B&F recently or are you saying he was on the wagon that year? An obvious recent example is that bloke who was an Ice addict but managed to win a brownlow & play an integral part in a premiership. Voss didn't mind getting on the piss, there was also that handy player for the Kanga's, Wayne somebody, I seem to recall he went all right too.
Curbing his lifestyle would mean Did's made fewer headlines but it wouldn't necessarily lead to him becoming a better player. Whilst it is possible it could it is also possible it could have the opposite effect.
The details of my life are quite inconsequential.. My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low-grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a 15-year-old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize; he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes, he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament... My childhood was typical: summers in Rangoon... luge lessons... In the spring, we'd make meat helmets... When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds — pretty standard, really. At the age of 12, I received my first scribe. At the age of 14, a Zoroastrian named Wilma ritualistically shaved my testicles — there really is nothing like a shorn scrotum — it's breathtaking... I suggest you try it.

We have been a somewhat disjointed group on Bf for a while sadly scruffSo much anger in this thread that should be directed towards Carlton supporters and not ourselves![]()

So you feel that in order for Didak to reach the next level, he should mantain his prematch routines of having a weekend bender 6 days before a season defining game and he should ride around with convicted murderors directly after a game?
Firstly he did not have a bender every game.
Secondly the gent he was in the car with had not committed the murder nor been convicted of it at the time.
Didak has committed some minor transgressions
re: drinking at inappropriate times yes...
he is not the first player to do so nor will he be the last.
As to your assertion that Didak is in some way "guilty" by association with the soon to murderer then you must also apportion some blame to the hitchhikers Milat picked up prior to their own murders.

He had a bender around the time of the 1st Hawthorn game, which was reported that Heath Shaw had an incident at a Nightclub.
He was a high profile member of the Hells Angels, you do the adding of 1 plus 1.
If you call lying to the face of your captain, coach & president minor...
How many players go on weekend long benders 6 days before a crucial or effectively, a mini final?
I didn't say Didak was gulity of anything to do with that murder. He was gulity of being an idiot numerous times, after a big night out he is in a car where a guy fires shots in the air & is called before the club to defend his actions, almost a year later he is involved in a situation such as the Geebung case.
He just doesn't have the offield resolve to be an elite player.
Mate this is more then just an employment, this is his life, his friends, he lied to their face. I guess its easy to criticise if your not in the situation or never have been.didak has done a couple of stupid things.. the only truly bad thiong he did was lie to his employer... i mean seriously, how many people here have lied to their employers??? i bet most would have at some stage....the difference being you didnt have to face media persecution as a result of it....
anyway.. for those who dont support dids.. bugger you.... lets see how much you love him when he is winning games for us off his own boot next year.....

Also i think that getting in the car with a drunk driver is worse, because it could have had permanent effects for him, his team mate and any innocents in the vicinity.

Didak's only transgressions were to have a few too many drinks at not particularly appropriate times and to get two "lifts".
He had no more way of knowing that one driver would "later" become a murderer than he did of knowing Heath Shaw would crash.
You forget lying to your captain, president & coach. Now I can identify that everyone has lied to an employer (I have) but it's a poor analogy in a football sense. Totally different envrionments, if you can't look in the face of your captain & tell the truth then you lack the required traits in a cohesive football team.
Well if he didn't know the consquences of a drunk driver then he is a bigger idiot then I give Didak credit for. Death & serious injury should be identified by any sensible adult in regards to drink driving.
As for Hudson, a figure with a shaved head, more ink than Optimax, 4AM, at a seedy strip joint & someone clearly under the influence of alcohol, and you take a lift with him. I agree Didak didn't know he had a Colt sitting in his car, but again a poor choice on his part.

so I guess if someone doesnt fit a certain visual sterotype we should avoid them at all costs, according to your logic..... having a bald head/ tatts does not mean the person is or should be considered a criminal...
just for the record are you a preist, mufti or rabbi ?? are you ultra religious or conservative?? get over it...didak is a 25 y.o and hes made a few silly errors in judgement.
he is still young and has pressures and constraints in his day to day life, which is safe to assume, you dont or ever will have... so before you act all high and mighty take a breath and think about what his roles in these "terrible acts" were.......... getting pissed isnt a crime in australia... as for the lying, this gets back to the media persecution associated with playing with the CFC...
Compare Didak to other AFL players at his own age. I know there is a culture amongst AFL players to enjoy offield activities but few players his age or even younger, have trangressed as badly as Didak.
