judging by this post you dont have clue do you?
And judging by this, I don't give rat's a*s*s what you think. This thread is just filled with Bombers supporters who don't want to hear the truth. You guys can crap on about Lloyd but it will only be a waste of time.

I guess everyone has a different way of determining how good a player is. Personally I don't think Premierships count when comparing 2 players as I see them as being more of a team thing whereas I think Brownlows, Coleman's "count" when comparing 2 players.

I almost didn't bother replying to this. Ok, it is just dumb to suggest that premierships do not add to a player. Really. It is. Why else would they want them so much? It adds to them. You think you know that 3 premierships don't make Lynch a better FF than Lloyd. I think it does, and we can just agree to disagree on that. I concede that Lloyd kicks more goals, but Lynch did so much more than that for Brisbane, as is EVIDENT by their success.
Have to disagree. I think that premierships just show that Brisbane have recently been a better team than Essendon. I don't think that they have anything to do with Lynch being better.

tell me what you think makes lynch a better player? not moving, and using the roids to bulk up and just push everyone else out of the way and have a whinge when you get free kicked against? or is it getting rubbed out for 10 matches after disgracefully trying knock out your opponent? or is it struggling to kick 70 goals plus in a three time premiership team that had just about the best midfield ever?

Its pretty funny how badly this trolling has gone. It was supposed to be a Lloyd bashing exercise, how hard can that be? The guy comes across as an airhead. You could attack his stupidity, his less-than-macho approach, his plastic wife or how silly it was to make him captain.

Instead they attack his ability as a FF. The one area the bloke is actually good for something. Not only that, they put him up against a fella with a serious medical condition that prevented him from playing regularly, and who has a drug cloud over his head.

Lynch may not be getting enough love in the footy community but it isn't Lloyd's fault. I blame the Brisbane people for over-rating J Brown. The kid has potential but really hasn't made an impression yet. People can rant on "3-flags big-and-strong next-Carey" but the fact is Brown's done nothing in finals and is in fact a front runner living off Voss Aker and Lynch.

Lynch was the key to Brisbane's forward line not Brown. Brown was KO'd in two of the flag wins and it didn't make a lick of difference, Lynch still delivered.

Over-rating Brown tends to obscure Lynchs great contribution. Brisbane people should do justice to their past players and not over-rate poor old Brown: he's not a bad player, its just he's no Alastair Lynch.

None of this is Lloyds fault and I fail to see how he comes into it.
I agree with you. I love the bloke, but he is still mostly potential, with the odd dominance.

Many more years to come from the Great One. Enjoy all those ice baths in retirement lynch.
I honestly haven't seen a great game from Lloyd in as long as Lynch. Problem is Lynch is retired.

Eventhough Lloyd is one dumb diving bacardi breezer drinking sniper of a pansy, he is still one hell of a great full forward.

Lloyd > Lynch easily.

Lloyd: 27 years old 750+ goals
Lynch 36 years old (retired at 36) how many goals did he get? 500-600

that tell the whole story

I'm sure neraly 3/4 and more of the AFL players all drink beer and im sure also plenty drink bacardi breezers.

So for petes sake he just drinks that drink whats so wrong about it?

for christ sake !

At least Lynch doesn't pick up grass. Lloyd is a skinny, little runt compared to Lynch.

Grow up you little baby and get some constructive arguments, it's a routine Lloyd goes through and look how accurately he kicks his goals. You have got no idea mate

Well said. Just because you don't like the guy because he isn't in your sides doesn't mean he is crap. 'Oh well he throws grass in the air, that must make him crap', 'But he drinks chick drinks that means he is crap' 'He has an unbelievably hot wife, therefore he is crap'. The fact still remains that he still could and would smash any of the full backs in the competition, like he has done before.

Actually, I didnt start this thread as a Lloyd bashing exercise at all, It was posted in response to a similar argument that took place inside another thread on the main board.

I thought it would make an interesting poll.

EDIT: As for his "unbelievably hot wife"... she looks kinda rodentish to me. Like a gerbil almost.

One which lynch is being smashed in
In a similar ratio to Bombers supporters to Brisbane supporters funnily enough (12:5 unique posters so far in this thread, which means statistically 2 of you voted for Lynch). Phone polls must be accurate too!

What does the amount of posters have to do with anything?
It obviously goes to the proportion of votes that follow ones club. If i posted a poll in the Essendon board with the question "Does Essendon suck?", it would get a lot of no votes. If i posted the same poll on the Carlton board, more yes votes. As more Essendon fans are participating in this thread (statistically speaking), it is obvious that there will be more pro Essendon votes. I am surprised this needed to be explained.
