Chances of making the NBA 25%Will never play for Collingwood
That was one thing that I always found surprising about Mase - for a college centre to not be able to protect his space was weird.Another double double and top scorer for the Gators.
Correct jen not great opposition but you can only play against the team in the schedule.
Blue Devils will be a test but it looks like he has improved a lot from last season.
He does seem to have one thing that I did not like about Cox as if you are a good college basketball player you box out with your lower body to enable better rebounding - Condon does that really well and Cox didn't seem to.
Because he was an accidental basketballer. I still find it bizarre that he never played an organised form of the game until college. That was one thing that I always found surprising about Mase - for a college centre to not be able to protect his space was weird.
I know, and even though he clearly wasn't much of a basketballer at that level, as a centre, he still would have been drilled continuously on protecting his space for his whole time in that college team - it's a huge chunk of the role.Because he was an accidental basketballer. Wouldn’t you think at some earlier stage somebody might have thought that could be his sport?

They're pushing and shoving to protect or access the ball drop. There's a heap of transfer.I can’t claim to be an expert but I would have thought the skills of protecting the space would be wildly different across these sports. AFL a lot more physical?
Maybe he can be our 00 (double zero) - at least whilst he's playing BB.
Deeper NBA draft this year yes, but he's going to be right on the cusp again. Buckle up for another 6 months at least
Why don’t Collingwood just give him an NBA level contract (Cat B is outside the cap, right?) and make the decision an easy one for Alex?Won't get a guaranteed contract.
May get a shot in the second round.
However still less likely then likely, just based off the fact that only 7-8 3rd year players get picked up every year.
I would give him a 20-25% chance of making the NBA personally.
