Rumours are that he might want to head back to Perth for next season (reported on fb so not sure how true this is). What would West Coast/Fremantle supporters be willing to give up? Would fit into both teams WC need a replacement for LeCras and Freo don't have many great options up forward. I value him around a late 2nd round pick but that may just be the Collingwood supporter in me. Thoughts?

Deal will get done relatively painlessly if he decides to leave, mid to late second rounder would be his worth IMO, handy player when he's up and about.

Doubt you will get that.

He is a handy player when he is up and about, trouble is that's not as often as you would like .

Fremantle would need to trade for a second rounder as they currently don't have one , they would most probably offer their third or Balic for him.

WC not sure he is what we're looking at , we need pure midfield assistance . Rioli will be our small crumbling forward next year.
Maybe if Le Cras retires he may have some interest.

The Balic swap looks your best option as things stand at the minute .

Has he said he wants out or is it just media speculation ?

he averages only 0.12 more goals than Jamie cripps and cripps is more of a defensive forward and is pretty average. Wouldn't look at him unless its a third rounder.

Balic swap hahaha. Oh boy.
Fasolo had 58 shots on goal this year. If he didnt happen to get the Yips thatd be about 40-45 goals any other year as he is generally a dead eye in front of goal.
You think a player who has played what 3 games is worth a straight swap with a forward who has kicked 130 goals and led a clubs goalkicking before ?

Nah he's easily worth a second
For a flashy player with mental issues?

The later is going to reduce his value imo

It's a good deal. Balic is highly rated. Fasolo is so-so. High risk-high reward. If he wants to go your bargaining power is limited.

45 goals 13? Highly unlikely

It'll be a buyers market because be wants to go home and has had mental illness issues (assuming he does want to go home), so IMO his worth is somewhere in the second round but we'll take less unless we're being totally screwed, could end up being a 2018 second for him and our 2018 3rd.

Didn't for Lumumba...
Probably because we traded Mitch Clark who had mental issues for him.

Turned out s**t for both teams

Don't mind Fasolo. When playing decent and in a team wanting to score he's worth around pick 30.

For Freo? A team that would rather harass until their legs lactate and if we then happen to fire a shot on goal after a solid 5 minutes of defensive pressure? He's probably worth pick 80.

We have an early 3rd around pick 40. That may go close to getting it done.

Returning to his home state might help clear his mental health issues and might be the reason he might want to leave Collingwood.

Not overly interested. But if we could work out a deal for Balic that'd be worth it.

Ok player, needs to be a bit better defensively.

This needs to work harder defensively, has all the tools, really good small forward and working with Kennedy and Darling would be a difficult match up.

Maybe. It makes him a much bigger risk though

Balic was touted as a 1st round pick but had wrist issues requiring surgery.

You wont get a 2nd rounder from either club.

Player who is in and out of the side and with mental health issues which saw him take leave during the season. Pies need to get what they can and move on.

Eagles may offer Schofield or Masten. If Lamb wanted out he would be another but it sounds like he's staying.

That's reality.
