I have never seen a player fumble the ball so much and be able to drop easy marks after have clear grabs at them. It amazed me how many times he did against Sydney/GWS and then also West Coast. Also noticed his look a like also fumbles the ball a lot too...

He's a bit small but i think he'll be a good player. Was impressed in the one game i saw him in last year also against Coburg in the VFL. Has fumbled a bit, but on the flip side, reads the play really well and knows how to create space & runs to the right spots. Like him.

GO TIGES!!!

I'm surprised that someone's bothered to make a thread on this. Young kid in debut games fumbles. Sure he dropped a few sitters but other than that his play has been a lot more impressive than others who couldn't get near the ball. Just needs a bit of strength and confidence which will come with time. He's done far better than I expected of him this early.:thumbsu:

Pretty low thread to start on a young kid playing his first couple of practise matches.

I really hope he doesn't read a rubbish thread like this or if he does he has the wisdom to ignore it.

The standard overall yesterday was deplorable. Why would you pick on one rookie? Because of his haircut?

Thought Magin showed a fair bit of promise yesterday. Ditto for Hutchins, who did a reasonable job on Darling.

If they fumbled any more than the other 50 blokes out there, it wasn't particularly noticeable.

Agreed!

The fact the kid can get to the ball TO fumble is a positive for mine! Big stage jitters... he will be right. ;) And if he's not, it won't be because of a couple pre-season fumbles.

Agree with your assessment of the game.

Ball handling by both sides was close to deplorable.
