I think he should apologise
Alex Pearce apologises:

"Dear AFL community,

After deep reflection, and completing an AJA-led re-education program, I would like to apologise for the post I shared about Palestine, and the murder of civilians. At the time I believed that standing up for an innocent people, being systematically shot, blown-up and starved out of existence was the right thing to do. It has come to my attention since sharing my post that the band Kneecap, a group of Northern Irish musicians, are now charged with terrorism by the British police. Since this has come to my attention, The entire Gazan genocide has really faded into insignificance. The fact that Australia's press are all but ignoring the largest-scale genocide seen this century, now feels irrelevant. The fact that Israel's leader is still welcomed as a guest freely in all western countries, despite being charged with war crimes by the International Criminal Court, now just doesn't seem so important. I see now that the manner in which I spoke out against these petty grievances was significant, because I was reposting some musicians who at other times also waved a Hezbollah flag at some of their concerts, a fact which serves as a reminder of the important work that Israel is doing in Gaza: ridding the world of Hamas, a group who is so hard to distinguish from the civilian population of Gaza, that they do not allow any humanitarian aid to flow into the area, because it distracts them from the task. I urge all of you, as concerned as you might feel about the lives of Palestinians, do not post anything about it. We need to keep talking about Kneecap."

More like:

“Dear AFL Community. Sorry I reposted a group who support the gang rape of civilian women and kidnapping and butchering of children.”

The end.

All this supposed concern you have about the deaths of civilian women and children. Are you aware of how many women and children in gaza, statistically, have died during the back and forth we've had here? Enough to show why speaking out about it is the highest priority, and why the views of Kneecap, whom Alex Pearce has no connection with, are insignificant.

What is significant is that the pattern in this country that anyone who expresses solidarity with Palestinians will face accusations of supporting terrorism, cancellation, sacking, censorship or violence.

You don’t see the same celebrating of civilian casualties on the other side of the aisle. When that happens I’ll happily agree that it’s bad.

But which notable people are celebrating the death of innocent Palestinians? I haven’t seen anyone do that.
countless zionists have been doing that since it happened and well before october 7. if you’re not counting them, then the official media is absolutely fine with the indiscriminate killing of civilians because that’s ultimately what the government wants.

Like who?

i could find thousands of people on twitter saying and repeating the kind of stuff you’re lambasting pro palestine people for saying, or do supporters of deliberate actions not count?

regardless, your point is moot because statistically, israel has killed more civilians, and will continue to do so indiscriminately.

Twitter has basically become 4chan and is a cesspool, of course that’s where you’ll find people saying things like that.

Regarding the number of civilian deaths, I don’t agree. Germany had more civilian casualties than England in WWII. Does that make them the good guys? Of course not. It’s still a war which clearly has its good guys and bad guys.

twitter’s edginess is inspired by 4chan but they’re not even remotely identical, it’s a perversion of what they think it was like despite being too scared to post on the boards.

there’s no good side to this war from my perspective, each side is doing exactly what the other wants to to keep the violence going, to maintain the status quo.

People like the Israeli government? Who you have so vehemently defended in this thread?
What? This has been about whether it’s ok to support terrorism, and whether it’s okay to support people who support terrorism by reposting them.

Having people demand an apology isn't being censored?

Hint... It absolutely is.
I just said I think he should apologise. Hardly censoring him.

The atrocity that was committed on October 7th was reprehensible and those who participated in the unlawful killing of civilians should be brought to justice. This is my steadfast opinion and it has not wavered.

Over to you...

It's literally the definition of censorship.

As for the first question. Do you disagree that the Israeli government are engaging in unlawful conduct which would be considered terrorist activity if it wasn't being conducted by a nation state?
