I ran into Josh Kennedy in Perth in May when I flew over for the Freo game, and asked him who the best defender he has played on was. Emphatically said Rance and it wasn't close.

He'd be a legend just based on the last quarter against Sydney in 2014 but chuck in another 149 and 3 quarters and this bloke is one of the greatest tigers players ever in terms of ability and in terms of what he has given to the club.

I certainly didnt.

First year or two he struggled to keep his feet and was beaten one on one too often. How tinmes change.
