The new Alexisonfire cd officially comes out tomorrow.. and it's pretty damn fine.
Has anyone else heard it yet? It's very different from "Crisis".. which was very different to "Watch Out!".. which was also very different to their debut self titled cd, so I guess it's nothing shocking. You can actually understand what George is screaming on this cd.. and I don't know if I like it that much. I don't hate it, but it just feels like a little bit of the emotion is lost. I loved that AOF had the three layered vocal effect.. it doesn't seem as powerful as some previous work like "44. Caliber Love Letter".
..with all of that said, it's one of the best cd's of the year so far.
The title tracks are awesome. "Sons of Privilege" is damn rad and "The Northern" is the stand out for mine. It's typically alexis. I can't wait to see that live.
