oh by the way Alf, last night was a real success, being Friday the 13th and all oh yeah and a full moon.....and what a full moon it was..the witches were out in force! OMG!!! And so were us witch hunters dont you worry about that me old lad dont you worry about that at all! Never to worry though AlFY we caught those sabrina wannabes and burnt them at the stake.....chucked a few snaggers in there too by the way, plenty left over if you wish to visit us West Aussies for our annual SUN PRAISING TUESDAY this week.
But of course we are 40 years behind the rest of Australia so in theory it is only 1960, so while out on our witch hunt we donned the love beads and our new found contraceptive aids and off we went! I nearly left the house with my shoes on! Heaven forbid! So we jumped in our combe van painted with blue and yellow flowers (Eagles colours of course...even though there was no such team in the 60's but we will just let that slide

The only beads we had over here in 1960 were bloody rosary beads. None of this worshipping celestial bodies for us.

Actually, BJ. I thoroughly enjoyed your post. But I think you'd better watch out for Premier "Gotcha" and his thought police. Much of your post, if interpreted a certain way, could be construed as being seriously "un-Western Australian".

In fact I suggest you get into your horse and buggy and come over here ... to the real world ... as soon as possible, before you fall foul of the authorities.

And when you get here, join the Collingwood Football Club because, by the time you get here, we'll be just about ready to win a premiership ... or at least a game or two.

Hey we're the same colours as good old Swan Districts. If I remember correctly I think they were having a golden era about 40 years ago. So, is Haydn Bunton still their coach?

The poor ol Swannies are having a bit of a battle, They will probably be right up there this year for a premiership! I wouldnt be surprised at all!
But I dont go for the Swans, although i do have to cheer on Adam Hunter when he plays for them!
I only recently have started to follow westar and I dont know if I should go for ClaremontTigers or West Perth Falcons.....i was always west perth Falcons coz of territorial ties and coz i was brought up in a west perth family but I really like the Tigers....I DUNNO!!! Its to hard to decide but Ill make my decision before the real season starts!
And ALF>.......move to the East?! HA! You have got to be joking. That is so laughable....but you wouldnt understand......Its a West Aussie thing
