The science lady had food and drink in the lab.

Its the future and they're still using glass to store these things? And she leaves the lab and there's no big warning one of the glass containers is insecure?
To be fair she was rushed out of the lab before secure containment was checked. She thought she had but in usual protocol I assume the warning would stop her and she goes back

The dialog is well written and delivered, there's just a bit too much of it sometimes. But it was another ep with people doing stupid things and plot contrivances.

A door falls off a feeding hatch in a billion dollar facility? Come on. Tootles is supposed to be smart but instead of calling for a mechanic to fix it, or even quickly opening the main door and sliding the food tray in, he steps into the room containing alien creatures and locks himself in.

A secure bio lab housing several dangerous alien species has a large vent at ground level? Come on.
The lack of containment of Nibs was also a poor choice

A major change and she is left to go back to her room and get prodded by Wendy?

There's probably more going on there than meets eye - Kirsh sent the guy in to feed them & then watches the fallout without concern leaves little doubt to me he sabotaged the hatch.

The Alien universe has always been full of dumb ****ers, it's a not too subtle comment on the future of humanity imho.

My favourite character though is that sheep - he/she/it will be running the whole island before things wrap up;)

Tootles needed the aeroguard badly.

Kirsch is an interesting one because he is an old-school android, shows no emotion whatsoever, and thinks with AI logic. I get the feeling that he is letting all these things go on because he is just coldly curious about what will happen, or does he harbor some deep-seated hatred toward the new androids with human minds, which is why he is not intervening? It's spite. I'm not sure, but I'm sure we will find out eventually.

Kirsch has become the most interesting character to me.

I think he's a W-Y plant, placed to undermine Prodigy (and the thing that grabbed me the previous episode is the revelation that the boy genius is the main villain, went from being an unliveable jerk to a supreme supervillain).

Why does a space ship from the future have tv screens from the 60s?

Are they using old Star Trek sets for this show?

I feel its pretty poor overall

As phantom13 alluded to, Alien was made in 1979. Similar to other sci-fi movies of that era the computer screens reflected the tech at the time. Cathode ray tubes with a text interface. I don't think Alien:Earth needed to stay consistent with that, and if you think about it it's very silly, but it didn't bother me.

I think they probably didnt need to stay consistent but to me its one of the smartest and best decisions they made.

Loving this show.. BUT i find it a bit its set 2 years before the first Alien.

After Watching the first 3 movies movies in the leadup and then in Aliens 2 they act like they have no idea about the Aliens but yet its on Earth 2 years before the first.

Weyland Yutani have always known about it, check out the messages the android gets in Alien. They know.

Kirsch playing the long game!

Did IQs drop sharply since the start of the show? That was a dumb episode.

Slightly and Smee struggling to carry Arthur's body when we know the hybrids have super strength and speed. Kirsch helping them get to the beach. A raft magically appears like in an episode of Bear Grylls. An intelligent alien in sheep's body might understand Pi but how did it know Arabic numeral characters and that it was in base 10? Sheep don't drop cow pats. Large groups of security operatives appearing out of nowhere.

One more episode to go thank ****.

The whiny kid was annoying

Xenomorphs are like Jurassic Park dinosaurs. Speaking of the whole Chriss Pratt whistling is lame

Xenomorphs they look weird and have zero scariness to them like the original. They also seemed nerfed in the early episodes but now they're just one shotting and tearing apart these soldiers?

I can't believe there's only one episode to go, as there still seems so much left to play out here. What started as a fantastic series has lost some of its momentum in the last few weeks, and I'm worried they're going to drop the ball on this one. The only character that really fascinates me at the moment is Kirsch. What is his game here? The pet Xenomorph thing just isn't really vibing with me. The best monster in the show is that sheep. That thing is freaky as F.

Kirsch is intriguing but they better pay off with something with him in the final episode. We were supposed to care about Wendy because she's a nice person but now she's now using the Xeno to slaughter lab techs and anyone. Xenos becoming pet attack dogs?

Yeah, nah.

All the whining - do you people even Alien? 😂

Interested to see who cops the sheep eye - boy genius had someone in mind, I'm guessing it's Mother, her & her old man haven't had much luck so far. Hoping it's Morrow though, the eye would suit him.

The brother finally realised sis is actually dead & buried & what he is dealing with now is just as scary as anything else on the island.

Loving it all but Ep8 would want to be longer than 40mins though, just saying...
