Excellent final episode. The season as a whole a solid B+. Not top tier but had complex characters, interesting new monsters (the eye creature is flat out awesome), good story, and I didn’t mind it being left on a cliffhanger. Solid special effects for a TV show. I was concerned they could stuff up a favourite franchise but thankfully that didn’t occur, and backs up a very good movie from last year. A good time to be an alien fan.

Very much looking forward to season 2.

If this was just a random alien show I'd rate it slightly higher but as a Alien lore that was very underwhelming last two episodes.

Watched the 2 episodes and I too agree on the directing choices. Carry raft etc

But overall a good re-introduction to the Alien franchise

Yeah, couldn't have put it any better myself. The series started brilliantly, but I thought that after the flashback episode to what happened on the ship, the storyline became somewhat bogged down on the island, and it lost some of its pacing. But I still enjoyed it overall and will definitely watch Season 2. It was good to see how that plant monster killed its prey, finally, but not good for that woman. LOL. I thought the Kirsch storyline didn't get much resolution, but I hope we will get more in the next season. I never suspected that bald man to be what he was; that was well done. I was sad to see the sheep go.

Loved it. My only gripe is the shortening of the last 2 episodes after the rest being around the 1 hour mark.

The Eye has a huge future .

Thought Ep 4 was the weakest. I got bogged down big time in that…5 attempts before I finished it and went through to the end.

Jumped through the roof when Sheep bumped the glass lol

Enjoyed it enough to come back to the next Season

Why does a space ship from the future have tv screens from the 60s?

Are they using old Star Trek sets for this show?

I feel its pretty poor overall

What about the Function key (F) still in use? Check the monitors…Function key on the edge of the screen

Because this is a prequel series to the original ALIEN movie, the ship must resemble the ship sets designed in 1979, which featured those old TV screens.

Not perfect but this show has been a nice surprise and still ranks up there with some of the best stuff of the franchise IMO. Closest in feel both of production and atmosphere of the first movie which is the best of the lot.

Hope they get off the island in season 2.

Yes the whole clickng of tongue and controlling Xeno's is stupid idea.

They've been manipulated from the start ffs. They are a creation, you can do with what you want , if you are able that is

Part of the scariness of the xenomorph in the dark was that you couldn't fully see it. Now it just looks like a bloke in a costume.

Wendy can communicate with the xenomorph. But then it got unrealistic by her controlling it and quiet clicks of the tongue carrying over long distances.

The xenomorph stopped being scary after aliens. The curtain had been well and truly lifted. I enjoy seeing it flying around destroying everything in its path. Don’t know how much it’s cgi, bloke in a costume or bloke in a costume on wires. The end result was pretty good and fresh imo.

As for Wendy’s quiet clicks, it did lose me when it went 5g long distance.
