I awoke one night to see a bright orange light glowing through the curtains over my window. I figured that was pretty strange and got up to investigate. Did I expect to see a UFO hovering above the house or something? I'm not sure, but what I did see was infinitely more terrifying than I could imagine.

My neighbours shed was on fire.

I had something like that happen to me a year or so ago, except that it was my neighbour out the back's back verandah that was on fire. I remember when I phoned the fire brigade they asked me for the address of the house that was on fire and all I could tell them was "I don't know, i'm looking at it from the back" !
