How good is Nicholson ?

A guy at work who is a Melbourne supporter bags him every week even between the seasons.
I always thought he was serviceable.

um... well he's our top defender (supposably) - but i reckon he's crap.

Nicho is young (just turned 23) and has switched to a key-defense role from being our third ruckman a couple of years ago. He is definitely a stopper and not an attacking defensive type, but with the Dees lacking strong defensive talent he is our number 1 FB option. Nicho has a few good efforts, some fair ones, and also a few poor ones to his name, but after serving under Ingerson in 2000/part of '01 hopefully he can take the next step up this season.

no, he's not that bad-he was nice today on the benches hehe
scez, i'd say that walshy is our best defender. even though he pushes into the midfield a bit... but yeah, he's fantastic!!
they said today that they reckon due to the work nicho has done over the summer that he'll be stepping up this season. i sure hope so!
i must say - that beard he grew couldn't have helped it looks shocking!!! hahaha

LMAO thats what I was thinking...
Anyways he is good, he has done some very important things for us during the last 2 seasons and he will only keep getting better. He struggled when Ingo left but now that Ellis has joined us (god damn Silky #2 ) the pressure will be eased and he will step up once again!!
Good luck to him... and yeah I think he should let go of the beard and the tight shorts!!

lets just hope it lessens alot more!! but really, he's a young guy, and there's room for improvment. i think eventually he'll be really good.
