I honestly believe the time for quoting bits and pieces of code/legislation/by-laws/shopping lists has come and gone.

The two joint investigators have arrived at a mutually convenient outcome.

It's now a matter of working out how hard the clip over the ear needs to be and eveyrone gets on with life.
Seriously..if there was one thing to take from this Mr Debarkle.. it would be don't take some fools word that it's ok...After all that's what got us to this mess in the first place!!!

Hey BSE Richard Ingis is on SEN - I dont think he has read your tea leaves or smelt your coffee. Sorry buddy, it aint over till its over.
As I said to someone else - don't worry about what the ex-Head said, worry about what the current Head is doing now:
  • allowing a joint investigation
  • patting the AFL on the back for a job well done

ASADA has not advised any party that AOD is permitted.

That's funny.

As I said to someone else - providing links to so-called "evidence" which mean diddly squat.

Ings says they will use the Ziggy report. Will get hands on any bit of information available to them.

Wouldn't they already have that? AFL got a copy months ago, and you would assume the AFL shared the info as a part of their joint investigation.

Also the Ziggy report was purely a governance one (remember at the time everyone here went feral because it didn't focus on the drug issue)

They are saying they will use it. Doesn't mean they don't already have it. Long process and far from over.

It will be interesting to see if that is added as evidence with the outcomes of the AFL charges against Essendon staff for bringing the game into disrepute..

Don't disagree with that, but I don't see any more evidence coming up unless Dank talks. Without him, where does the investigation go? Interview Spike again?
There could also be a lot of evidence that may warrant further investigation to come from the defense of the 4 charged at the AFL Commission hearing on the 26th...
