They clarified that ASADA were originally looking at AOD as falling under S2 and as such it cannot fall under S0 and people cannot be charged under S0

But what I don't get is that it wasn't listed under s2 and as such is described by WADA laws to then fall into S0 category.

Then there is the issue of the other stuff like the massive amount of Thymosin ordered by EFC and the mystery Mexican crap.

I'm so confused. How can Whateley say it falls under S2 therefore it is not prohibited? Isn't the code set out so that if a substance falls under any category it is banned?

so just to be clear the defence that AOD is not banned is because essendon asked about it being prohibited. asada say no under S2, so S0 is not applicable?
ASADA only ever looked at AOD falling under S2 and as such because they were thinking that it fell under S2 now that WADA have come out and said it falls under S0 no one who used it until the WADA clarification can be charged as it can't fall under two classes.

Basically they are going to get off on a technicality.

so do we take whatleys word for it or do we take WADAs

what proof does whatley have?
He had the AFL doctor who's job it was to find from ASADA where AOD fell under their classifications and they told him they looked at it falling under S2 and as it can't fall under two classes those that used it are okay.

this sounds like the argument black cat and various posters on the essendon board were arguing

i'll believe this when we get a response from ASADA and WADA. to date WADA has said it is definitely banned under S0. i'll go with that, rather than whatley
