Let me be the first to say that it's an absolute joke that Grundy isn't there.

Wow, I was certain Grundy would make the 40. He wasn't gonna make the 22 despite being deserving but I'm honestly shocked he hasn't made the squad.

Like how many rebounding defenders do you need in a squad of 40? Laird, Docherty, Simpson, Boyd, Enright, Shaw and Pittard all make the squad when the key defenders amount to Talia, Tarrant, McGovern, Rance and Rampe? I think they've made an error there.

Leaving aside the rightness or wrongness of the decision (and I wonder how much was the one game against richmond ?) it must be said what an amazing year he has had quite separately. He is slow by foot, he used to get tossed around by people like cloke and moved off them, his skills can be just ordinary but his rise over the past 5 years has just been incredible.
