You wanna put your money on Stiffy making it?

only thing that i would change would be chapman out or bench and b harvey in maybe nick riewoldt doesn't deserve it... is brett deledio a chance for the squad
Chapman would go out now with his injury I would say
You wanna put your money on Stiffy making it?
Not anymore lol
Western Bulldogs: Robert Murphy, Jason Akermanis, Dale Morris, Adam Cooney and Matthew Boyd

Anyone agree with that?
Probably not Boyd, but the others are all a chance but I would say only 1 of Aker and Murphy would make it

Brent Harvey a certain starter In All Australian?

I want to know if you think Brent Harvey will start on the ground in this years All Australian. If so what position do you think.

Re: Brent Harvey a certain starter In All Australian?

in a word...

yes.

postion? Would hope midfield but the bloody selection panel might put him FP just to shove some more midfielders in there..

Re: Brent Harvey a certain starter In All Australian?

Yeah he's a definate starter for mine. He'll probably be on the wing or the bench at the moment. They won't put him in the forward pocket because they group them as forwards, midfielders and defenders now when they pick the original 40 man squad.

Re: Brent Harvey a certain starter In All Australian?

Bloody deserves it. One of the best players in the last 10 years and has been nothing short of brilliant this year

Re: Brent Harvey a certain starter In All Australian?

Just to confirm.

This thread is actually about if they can find a spot for him on the Ground.

He will definately make the team, but some people i know think he will start on the bench so i want to hear what you think.

Re: Brent Harvey a certain starter In All Australian?

Definatly,. wont dislodge the bigger name midfielders like Ablett/Bartel/Thompson so will somehow start in the forward pocket.

lol Boomer would be a bigger name then Thompson, no offence to the man of course.

he will get the position of the sooky actor screaming at the umpires "look at me, look at me" "I should get brownlow votes for that game?"

B: Craig Bolton; Matthew Scarlett; Dale Morris
HB: Corey Enright; Nathan Bock; Tom Harley (vc)
C: Jimmy Bartel; Brett Kirk (c); Brent Harvey
HF: Ryan O'Keefe; Lance Franklin; Matthew Richardson
F: Paul Medhurst; Brendan Fevola; Jason Akermanis
R: Dean Cox; Gary Ablett Jr; Adam Cooney
I/C: David Hille; Sam Mitchell; Simon Black; Matthew Pavlich

It's a hard team to pick depending on whether Richardson will be considered a forward. I reckon the selectors will consider him a forward so they can fit in an extra midfielder.

B: Dale Morris; Matthew Scarlett; Darren Milburn
HB: Corey Enright; Nathan Bock; Craig Bolton
C: Brent Harvey; Simon Black; Jimmy Bartel
HF: Alan Didak; Nick Riewoldt; Paul Medhurst
F: Jason Akermanis; Lance Franklin; Brendan Fevola
R: Dean Cox; Adam Cooney; Gary Ablett
IC: David Hille; Matthew Richardson; Brett Kirk; Sam Mitchell

Most unlucky: Joel Corey, Jonathan Brown, Ryan O'Keefe, Matthew Pavlich, Steve Johnson, Luke Hodge, Robert Murphy

Certainties in my opinion are Scarlett, Morris, Bock, Harvey, Franklin, Fevola, Cox, Cooney and Ablett. Richardson deserves a run on the field but until they choose the squad, I'm not sure if he'll be a forward or a midfielder.

This is my team that I spent a very important LOTE lesson working on:

B: Brian Lake, Matthew Scarlett, Dale Morris
HB: Andrew Mackie, Nathan Bock, Campell Brown
C: Joel Corey, Adam Cooney, Dane Swan
HF: Alan Didak, Jonathan Brown, Robert Murphy
F: Steve Johnson, Lance Franklin, Brendan Fevola
R: Dean Cox, Sam Mitchell, Gary Ablett
Int: Aaron Sandilands, Matthew Pavlich, Jimmy Bartel, Brent Harvey
Em: David Hille, Matthew Richardson, Darren Milburn
Coach: Mark Thompson (obviously)

Sandilands over Hille is contentious, but I simply don't rate Hille highly enough as a tap ruckman. I feel that Sandilands is a lot better in the air, and at ground Hille is better, but not so much better than it overrides his lack of rucking talent.

Apologies to Paul Medhurst, Joel Selwood (don't act surprised, the kid is a superstar!), Nick Riewoldt, Simon Black, Tom Harley, Kane Cornes, and the rest of the Geelong team, all of them deserved it ;). Plenty of others, but this is my best 22.

B: Craig Bolton; Brian Lake; Dale Morris
HB: Corey Enright; Nathan Bock; Darren Milburn
C: Adam Cooney; Brett Kirk; Matthew Richardson (vc)
HF:Brent Harvey; Lance Franklin; Nick Reiwoldt
F: Paul Medhurst; Brendan Fevola; Steve Johnson
R: Dean Cox; Gary Ablett Jr(C); Jimmy Bartel
I/C: David Hille; Sam Mitchell; Simon Black; Matthew Pavlich
