All Australian Team

Were any of you suprised that Andrew McLeod was not chosen as a midfielder in the AAT? I know I was. Was good to see Roo and Benny there though. Unfortunate that their are any Port Players at all in the team. From the looks of it they may aswell have just sent Brisbane up there to play they made most of it up anyway. I was also suprised not see any Essendon players as they have some greats and too bad Eddy your lover boy Nathan wasn't in it.

I think he's had quite a good year don't you think he has?? I would have thought Bickley would have been a good addition aswell.

i though Tyson Edwards has had a good year, what do crows fans think of his year?

Edwards had a great year but would have been difficult fitting him into the Australian team, as for McLeod, he had a shocker....I expected Hart in and Ricciuto was an added surprise to me....

I thought Edwards had a good year and same with Nigel Smart apart from 1 or 2 games.

I thought Mcleod and Riccuito had patchy years and Edwards and Steinglin were more deserving of AA selection

McLeod definately didn't deserve to be there although the way they judge these things I tend to think they get there partly on reputation so I wouldn't have been surprised to see McLeod there.

One example is Mark Ricciuto. He certainly had a pretty good year but was he better than Kane Johnson and Matthew Bode in the midfield? Bode has been consistently one of the Crows best midfielders all year but because he is not a big name I bet he wasn't even considered. Early in the year Kane Johnson was awesome but do they remember the first half of the year? I always think there is more emphasis on the second half because thats what people remember better.

Edwards was down for much of the first half of the year and despite being briliant in the last couple of months I don't think he really deserved to be an All Australian.

Others to consider: Mark Bickley and Nigel Smart. Both have probably been better than Ricciuto over the whole year but then again they are competing for different spots in the team so maybe they can't be compared.

Anyway, I am not complaining about Ricciuto being there because I am very happy for him and the more we have there the better. I just think the team is often picked on reputation as much as performance.

Thought the All Australian Team was pretty well Spot On!!!

Andrew McLeod has had a servicable year! Has definitely been on an Injury Management program for most of the year, Adelaide have been trying to keep him as Fresh and injury free as possible for the most important time of the year!

Ben Hart was a certainty and should win Adelaide B&F, I agree with Mark Ricciuto being a bit of a surprise inclusion....... but hey we'll take it!!!!!!!

I think the Channel 9 Coverage of The All Australian thing was pretty average, they need to realise that an event such as this is far far different to The Footy Show! Im sick and tired of Eddie at every oppurtunity he gets, mentioning Collingwood ie: Making out to step on Harty's Foot!!!!!!! Your talking to the best god damn defender in this country Eddie, Have some Respect!!!!!!

If we pull it off on Saturday, the look on his face will be priceless!
