It's not that bad. Hibberd definitely the odd one out.

I'd say McVeigh is the odd one out in Robbo's side. I'd have him as a borderline squad member, let alone 22. His reputation precedes his performances a little this year. He'll be top 10 in our B&F but I'd have Beams, Pendlebury and Boak. I'd probably have McGlynn's 16 games over McVeigh's 22 too, McGlynn's influence on the side in the middle cannot be underestimated this year.

Wouldn't surprise me to see him in the 22 because the media and selectors can be swayed by his numbers which are solid as ever. But his influence has been nowhere near what it was in 2013.

Needs more Hawthorn in the forward line I think.

Do people think Roughy or Hawkins have had a better year.
I would lean towards Hawkins, but gee that FF spot is up for grabs, even with Schulz in the mix too.

Would not be surprised to see Rance make the AA side at the expense of Talia. Pure stoppers have rarely been favoured over two way players unless they have been head and shoulders above the rest.
If Rance makes it over any of McKenzie, Talia and Hooker then they should just pick names out of a hat instead of having a panel of brain dead selectors.

Maric is nowhere near it.

Jacobs, Sandi, Lobbe, Ryder all clearly in front of him.
Where did I say he was in front of those guys?
I said he was in front of Martin from Brisbane.
Most media commentators say he has just missed too many games to be considered. However, he has been excellent in the games he has played.

Maric has been important to you guys, yes. But even a full season I wouldnt say he'd be in calculations.

You could also throw N. Riewoldt into the mix at CHF, and move Buddy to FF.

There are two spots for five people, with Buddy the only one assured of one of them. You could throw a blanket over the other four. Any of Hawkins, Schulz, Rough or Riewoldt that gets it is deserving; whichever gets it I'm sure there will be complaints from the more one eyed of the participants on here that "their" guy didn't make it.
