Have to laugh at the Bulldogs supporters whinging about Bontempelli. He had a big dry-patch mid-season, along with some abysmal games, specifically vs Melbourne at the G, and West Coast a couple of weeks ago. He's still had a good year, but to suggest he's a lock over several other midfielders who you probably haven't even seen this year, proves your stupidity.

With no Talia,Hooker or McPharlin in the squad( how???) i think McGovern will make it into the side as the 3rd tall. Or someone like Gibson.

The Lewis selection is proof that selectors covet raw stats over games. Even Burgoyne has cruised through the last three months after a great start. Midfielders that have been better off the top of my head - Cotchin, Bontempelli, Hodge, Shiels, I Smith, Thompson, Hartlett, Vince.

Yes he had a bit of a dry patch but his form either side of that makes up for it, he has been bloody brilliant this year. Shooting up to number 13 overall in the AFL ratings.

On that basis, if Rioli gets into the team ahead of Deledio, its a joke.

in that case then Dayne Zorko should be in who's up to 18 in the rankings. Would you have the Bont replace Dahlhouse out of curiosity?

As a Hawks supporter Gunston..Lewis..Gibson..Burgoyne LOL how did they make the squad?

Smith was stiff and without looking I'm sure Hodge's stats were better than Boyds, I expect Mitchell and Rioli to make the side, that's it.
You'd be wrong. Boyd has more kicks, handballs and marks than Hodge
