The difference between Goldstein and the other this year is his marking, he's a genuine elite contested mark these days, if the balls in his area in the air, he almost always takes it. In terms of one on one marks, he'd probably be in the top 5 in the comp on his form this year. That's the tiebreaker imo.

He should probably look to utilise that elite marking up forward

No, just that he isn't a lock. I'd have him in the squad, no doubt, but the only "lock" in the forward line is Kennedy.

Hogan did. Anybody who watched that game that doesn't support Richmond agrees. He isn't a "lock", he's an excellent chance of making the team, but there is a chance he doesn't make it. Would you disagree that all three of Bruce, Cameron and Franklin are chances to make the team ahead of him?
Serious question.
Do you understand what the word defrayed means? I don't think you do.
Hogan won on the night, but destroyed?
No just no.

Whenever Hombsch is not in someones AA team, all the other posters should be asking "where's Hombschy?"
He's definitely close, but is he ahead of Hurley, Rance, McGovern? It's a tough call. Given I haven't done a team in a while, here's my next go:

FB: Easton Wood - Alex Rance - Jeremy McGovern
HB: Garrick Ibbotson - Michael Hurley - Heath Shaw
MF: Daniel Hannebery - Matthew Priddis - David Armitage
HF: Chad Wingard - Jeremy Cameron - Mark LeCras
FF: Eddie Betts - Josh Kennedy - Jack Riewoldt
OB: Todd Goldstein - Nathan Fyfe - Jordan Lewis
IB: Andrew Gaff - Scott Pendlebury - Jack Steven - Isaac Smith

Defrayed? Isn't that when someone bears the entire cost of something? How is that relevant?

I'll listen when a non Richmond supporter agrees with you guys.

Why not? I'm not saying Jack won't make the side, just that there are definite arguments that he's 4th or 5th in line.

All you got is a auto correct error.

How somebody who thinks he is a level above most in football smarts can hi stake claim 2 goals and 6 marks is a example of a full forward destroying a full back? The mind boggles, also shows some clear bias from your end.
2 goals, 3 contested marks, 4 marks inside 50, 2 goal assists and 4 coaches votes. Stats don't always tell the full story, but I haven't seen a non-Richmond supporter disagree with me.

I've already admitted he won the battle, but destroyed is almost as laughable as your argument, which is point out irrelevant typos and backtrack, but never ever ever concede you're wrong;)

Because I'm not. I've freely admitted being mistaken before. The key point in those cases were because I was wrong.

How did he destroy him? All you have done is point to stats, which point out that he clearly didn't destroy him and point to neutrals, which even though you don't support Melbourne, you aren't a neutral when it comes to Richmond, this is clear from your posting habits over a long time.
Cop it on the chin, you're wrong.

Because he and Nathan Jones were basically the reason Melbourne won. The only ones raising a fuss are Richmond supporters. Are you telling me that I'm more biased than you, or the other Richmond supporters in this thread? Why can't you take your own advice?

made him his bitch when? when they played this and goldstein had more hitouts, kicks and tackles....? tell us more about how you know your football....
With 96% TOG to Sandilands' 74%, 10% of which was probably spent up forward, his 1 more hit out and 1 more kick looks great.

yes but I didn't say Goldstein even won the contest.... "Sandi made Goldy his bitch" with less hitouts, less tackles and less kicks.". you've just joined the stupid brigade with the other guy. congrats.
