Lewis has missed three games and had a string of ordinary performances through the middle of the season. Behind quite a few mids this year. Fyfe, Pendlebury, Mitchell, Hannebery, Armitage, Dangerfield, Beams, Gray, Steven, Picken, Neale, Gaff are all ahead atm. Will need to come home with a wet sail.

His disposals mean nothing, they are cheap kicks. He's a useles accumulator was much better last year. Despite 2 thirds of his possesions being uncontested his disposal effiency is still in the 60's.
I am not saying he'll make it necessarily because I think there are too many midfielders who have been better this season, but I can tell you first hand that he was comfortably Hawthorn's best against us. Killed us.

And those numbers are deceiving. There are few genuine midfielders who average more than 15 kicks per game as he does (17) who have a better disposal percentage than him. Of the notable midfielders in contention for All- Australian Andrew Gaff, Sam Mitchell and Scott Pendlebury spring to mind.

He has had better years than this one, but I think you sell him pretty short. He's certainly in contention.

With McGovern out for an estimated 4 weeks, you can drop him from your sides. He was marginal already, now he'll miss too much footy

Talia is not often beaten.
Talia is a great defender, just not sure he's got the profile to get the nod. Gov will have scans tomorrow or Monday at the latest. That will determine if it's 0-2 weeks or 4-5 I think in regards to injury. If it's the latter you can't miss that much and still make AA without having a big media profile and being absolutely dominant.

Didn't Rance miss 5 last year?
Yeah but he played all the back end of the season and had a very strong end to the season. He was also damned lucky to make it and a lot (most I would say) if they looked at last year in seclusion from this one would have had McKenzie instead of rance in the team.

Hodge, Mitchell and Gibson should all be in the side. Bruest and Rioli both either in or very close. In amazing form.
Breust has had a quiet year compared to previous. Rioli has been consistent but both would need a strong back end to the season to figure for the 22 I think. Either that or making it by default if Betts drops off.
