Lots of Adelaide fans pissy about Sandi getting in over Jacobs, but really they both had dominant years, just everyone expects that kind of year from Sandi because he has been dominant his whole career. Fyfe was unlucky in 2011 as well and Pav in 2010. But in all 4 cases it was probably a 50:50 decision with other players. But finally we had luck with those 50:50s....

It's almost as bad as Stef Martin getting in over Sandilands this year on the back of a great half season. Martin probably needed to play just a few more games (and play for the Tigers) and he'd be there.

Agree on the Rance selection, reckon that rd 23 game against Sydney was so hyped and got him over. Mckenzie stiff, Parker stiff. Think ballaz was lucky but very glad for him and he is a genuine fwd pocket.

Ballantyne being in was a nice bonus but I'm stoked Sandi gets to add another AA to his belt, well deserved to all three players.

Rance seems to be the token joke selection this year but I can't deny the reaction from WC fans brings some joy
