The team is well behind, say, Collingwood. Lower was picked up for a reason and, if he's playing well, I'm sure Harvey would pick him before another kid (we have enough of them making up the best 22 already). Michie is likely the only kid I can see being blooded in the first half of the season out of the three pickups in the draft, but I doubt he'll play round 1. Lower for round 1, though.

Probably not as good as Stanley, but has significantly more scoring upside than Coad. The only question is job security - something we'll only know by Round 1 teams! With Barlow and Mora out for a while he's a good chance to get some early games however.
What's the deal with your rookies this year? How many spots are available on the list for them to be promoted pre-season? Last year I remember you guys had two or three spots but maybe Pav is on vets list now?

Just read Fyfe had 23 possies and 73 DT points in only one half against the Bulldogs on the weekend... delicious numbers.

Hey guys just a question about Greg Broughton saw that he was not named in the practice game this week, just wondering if he is injured or just giving him a rest. I reckon he is a shoe in to avg 95-100 this year he is a jet.
oh please let Lower get off the rookie list ... if he scores as he has done it's going to be ca-ching.

This is a pretty good team for a first shot.
Swap Fyfe for Palmer, palmer has more upside and has had a better preseason.
Not sure about Whitecross or LeCrass.
Swap LeCrass for Cameron Richordson - Mature age draft pick for the Kangaroos, will play.
Then i would swap whitecross for a Grimes or similar player.
Careful in your midfield with three Gold Coast players, make sure everyone else is playing.
Stevie J has had a bad preseason, keep an eye on him and if he doesnt improve look at swapping him with someone like franklin or Giansiracusa.

a: make you more money
b: give you better consistent scores.
There's plenty of cash cows that will play early on and consistently through the season, the trick is finding them. Either that or the expensive proven winners. Not many in the 200-300K range give you either of A or B.

Is Broughton worth the extra money over Duffield? Only 8 points ave diff last year but one a journeyman and another a potential star. Also thoughts on Fyffe after weekends game. Very impressive from what I can find. Thanks for your help.
