Nobody knows people's on-field situations (EG - posters that move from FF to midfield for the last 4 or 5 weeks which affects the season stats). It's not like it's real football where everybody watching the games can have an informed opinion.

I'm for two sides really. A statistical team of the year and a players player thread award. Unfortunately the latter needs a fairly large spread for nominations, unless three players from each club put together their team and its tallied that way.

I went out to a meeting last Friday afternoon and when I booked it, the guy says "well if you're coming at that time, you better bring beer". So I rocked up with a 6-pack of Peroni's to keep us interested during the meeting. Yesterday he came into my office (sans beer ) and basically said "where do I sign?" to a decent deal for us. CUB got it right when they coined The Beer Economy.
